Our mission is to give stray animals in Turkey a new beginning by finding them loving homes, both within the country and internationally through Kurtaran Ev (The Rescue House Charity) and WOF Rescue.
With recent developments putting these vulnerable creatures at greater risk, we invite you to help provide them with the safety, care, and brighter future they deserve through adoption. We act as a gateway to a certified animal care organization Kurtaran Ev and a volunteer project WOF Rescue, which put tremendous effort in taking care of stray animals and is specialized in preparing them for their new homes in the best way possible. In this page you will find lovely animals that are looking for their new families.
You can also fill out their adoption forms to see if you have a good match with any of these little friends. If you cannot be home to one of these strays but still want to help them have a better life, then there are other ways you can help remotely. You can donate or become a foster family of one of these dogs until a suitable house is found.
Mary is an absolute sweetheart 🍯, an incredibly loving Labrador. She walks beautifully on a leash, gets along well with all dogs, and because of her gentle nature, we believe she would also do well with cats. She’s the kind of dog that looks into your eyes and could quickly adapt to a home environment. We estimate that she’s around 3 years old and she is spayed. We are searching for a temporary or permanent home for Mary.
Kiddo was found thrown away after giving birth at Esat, Ankara. She was taken under protection before the municipality got her. She stays in a dog hostel in Turkey and can travel immediately once adopted with a flight volunteer. 💉All vaccinations are completed for adoption.
🐣~2,5 years old.🎖️Walks on a leash, holds toilet but no experience of home care. 🔎 May not get along with some dogs, good with kids and people. Athletic nature but requires indoor caring. (May get mischievous if left outdoors 🐒)
Nilo is a Husky mix, 1.5 year old male.
He was abandoned when he was 6 months old and we know him even since. He had a car accident and had minor tissue damage. He is now healthy, had the basic vaccinations but needs to wait for titration - so there is a 4 month wait time until he can leave. He gets along well with other dogs and with kids.
Bulut was found in a village where the villagers wanted him to be annihilated. When Bulut was rescued, we discovered he had a previous owner. Apparently, she got lost and his owner looked for her but when he could not find her he adopted another dog and did not have a place for Bulut. He wanted her to have a great life and we hope that for her as well. Bulut is around 4 years old. The breed of Bulut is banned in Turkey and she has a very small chance to find a home in Turkey.
Limon wants to meet you! 🍋 We found out about her after she was abandoned at a municipal shelter, and she’s now part of our family. She’s only 4-5 months old, a lively and excited little girl. Limon loves playing with other dogs and has all that puppy energy. We are looking for a new home that understands her energy needs and can dedicate the time she requires. She will be adopted with the condition of being spayed when the time comes.
As of July Achilles can travel to the Netherlands.
Achilles (Aşil) was born on 9/9/23
A fully vaccinated, male, Doberman
He is a love bug and gets along well with other dogs.
We do not know if he has experience in a home context.
His rescue story: Achilles was living in a village with his brother but the villagers accused them of eating a chicken so the brother poisoned to death and Achilles was chased away with a rifle.
Kaju, currently in our foster home, is a tiny girl, only about 2 months old. She is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog. This smart little one has already learned pee pad training and simple commands like “sit.” She’s also gotten used to car rides and being in a home environment. We are looking for a forever home for Kaju with someone who understands the challenges of raising a puppy, ensures she won’t be left alone for long periods, and agrees to have her spayed when the time comes.
Nina, who is currently in a foster home, is a 2-year-old, spayed female. She can be a bit shy until she gets used to her surroundings, but once she feels comfortable, she really opens up. She is house-trained and has learned to walk on a leash. As she overcomes her timidity, she’ll become even more relaxed outdoors. She gets along very well with other dogs and would be especially happy in a home as a second dog. Nina also loves cats, though her playful nature might scare a cat that isn’t used to dogs or is a bit timid. We are looking for a forever home for this smart, cheerful, and social girl.
Nova is one of the three huskies we are still trying to find a home for. She is a female, spayed, and around 2-3 years old, and a very well-behaved dog. She has a personality that makes her suitable to be a second dog, and she is accustomed to walking on a leash. We are looking for a new home for Nova.

3 months old, labrador mix.
Currently in clinic. Ates is the puppy of a mother dog who was tagged by the municipality as neutered while she did not undergo the surgery. Mom was thrown onto the streets and got pregnant. After giving birth neighbors complained so they had to constantly move. The puppies had to be seperated and they fell ill to parvo disease. Only 2 puppies survived and Ates is one of them.
We are looking for a temporary or permanent home for our sweet Merlot. She is around 6 years old, female, spayed, and has a wonderfully gentle temperament. Merlot adores everyone, whether they’re children or adults—she’ll immediately lie down and expose her belly, eager for affection. She is social with dogs and can also live with a cat.
Dobi is one of the lucky new arrivals in our care. ✨ She is a 1-2 year old, spayed female who, like every setter, is incredibly affectionate. She’s very social with other dogs and loves to play. An active home where she can go on long walks and burn off her energy would be ideal for Dobi. We are looking for a temporary or permanent home for her.
Lego is one of those dogs who needs a home the most. He is a 1-year-old, neutered male with an incredibly cheerful and easygoing personality. He’s accustomed to walking on a leash, and because of his calm nature, we believe he could get along with cats as well. We are looking for a permanent or temporary home for Lego.
Yoko has been waiting for a home for years, and it always seems like she’s sad because the home she’s been longing for hasn’t come. Older dogs are often the ones who can adapt most easily to your life. If you’re thinking about getting a dog for the first time and want to save one in need, an older dog could bring you a lot of happiness. This girl is around 7-8 years old, loves being touched and cuddled, and is full of affection. We are looking for a temporary or permanent home for Yoko.
It’s truly unfortunate how little attention mixed-breed dogs like Fındık receive. Yet they are so intelligent, well-behaved, and sensitive. Fındık was rescued from a municipal shelter, and during her time in a foster home, she quickly learned house training, got used to walking on a leash, and adapted beautifully to living indoors. She is full of love, and her only desire is to lie beside you on the couch and cuddle. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with the ones she knows. We are looking for a temporary or permanent home for Fındık.
Buddy is one of the children who has been looking for a home for the longest time. Yet, he is so well-behaved and smart. He is a male, neutered, and around 2-3 years old. He is house-trained, very calm and peaceful indoors, accustomed to walking on a leash, and very social with other dogs. What more could you ask for? He will bond with his new family right away; he's a very emotional dog. We are looking for a temporary/permanent home for Buddy.
